Bio
Dr. Piotr Oko has been a board-certified pediatrician for over 30 years. Dr. Oko attended Jagiellonian University,Collegium Medicum, Cracov in Poland. Dr. Oko completed his residency program at Seton Hall University, at Jersey City Medical Center. As Chief Resident, he was appointed as a clinical instructor in pediatrics for the St. George Medical School students. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and an Associate Professor at the University and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Oko and his colleague Dr. Klos pioneered the Pediatric Hospitalist Program for Hoboken and Christ Hospitals. Dedicated to managing well children, nutrition, development, and vaccinations. Dr. Oko’s clinical interests are in evaluations that range from all pediatric aspects such as asthma, eczema, eating problems, treatment of acutely sick children, and coordination of medical care of chronically sick patients, as well as transitional care. Dr. Oko has been awarded by Castle Connolly for several years and currently holds New Jersey Top Doctors, Favorite Kid’s Doctors, and New York Magazine Top Doctors awards.
