Bio
Dr. Osbert Fernandez is double board-certified in Family Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, New York where he served as chief resident. Dr. Fernandez has a special interest in high-risk obstetrics and is currently involved in research regarding hypertension in pregnancy. He is certified by the North American Menopausal Society for his commitment to menopausal health. Dr. Fernandez has been credentialed by the Surgical Review Committee for his expertise in robotic surgery. He has special interests in minimally invasive gynecological surgery and is an expert in the areas of minimally invasive hysterectomy, myomectomy, and the resection of endometriosis. Dr. Fernandez is the Associate Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CarePoint Health. He currently serves as a Care Point Health Medical Group Medical Director for Women’s Services. Dr. Fernandez has won various teaching awards, being named New Jersey’s top doctor for consecutive years, and was honored as a humanitarian for his commitment to women’s health.
