Bio
Dr. Morales is a non-invasive cardiologist with advanced training in cardiac imaging, particularly echocardiography and cardiac MRI. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Medicine. Prior to joining Total Cardiology Care, she was part of the Southside Hospital Cardiology Faculty (now Southshore Hospital of Northwell Health) in Bay Shore, NY where she was an active member of the Structural Heart Team, performing advanced level transesophageal echocardiograms for TAVRs, MitraClips , Watchman, and PFO closures. She has a particular interest in women’s heart disease, preventive cardiology, congestive heart failure, and valvular heart disease.
Dr. Morales has multiple publications and was recognized by the American Society of Echocardiography Foundation as one of the Top 25 young investigators (2016) and received the Young Investigator’s Award by the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology in 2011. She performed research as a Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Doctoral Intramural Research Training Award trainee at the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, NIH prior to attending medical school.
