Hudson Regional Health (HRH) today announced the appointment of Dr. Jihad Zreik as Chief Executive Officer of the Hudson Regional Health Medical Group. Dr. Zreik brings more than a decade of proven leadership experience in healthcare and will strengthen HRH’s leadership team as it continues to expand access to high-quality advanced primary, specialty and ancillary care beyond its acute care facilities and into communities throughout New Jersey.
In his new role, Dr. Zreik will oversee the continued and accelerated growth and development of the HRH Medical Group, HRH’s primary care and family medicine network, which has rapidly expanded to locations across Northern New Jersey in Bayonne, Secaucus, Clifton, Wayne, Belleville, and North Arlington. In April, HRH celebrated the grand opening of the HRH Medical Group’s newest location in West New York.
Dr. Zreik will oversee operations including HRH Medical Group’s continued expansion into locations throughout New Jersey, physician recruitment and practice acquisitions, clinical and strategic operations and the integration of primary and specialty care across HRH’s expanding network of community and providers.
His appointment supports HRH’s broader strategy of building a complete advanced care network encompassing all areas of medical practice while providing convenient access to the comprehensive services offered by the acute care HRH facilities in Hoboken, Bayonne and Secaucus.

Most recently, Dr. Zreik served as Chief Operating Officer of Epic Health. His previous leadership roles include Market Chief Operating Officer of the Tufts Medicine Integrated Network with Navvis Healthcare, and Vice President of Clinical Operations at IMA Medical Group. He also served as Senior Partner at Zion Consulting Group where he built international health systems and organizations, and Senior Executive Director of Corporate Operations for Orlando Health Medical Group where he scaled the organization into the nationally recognized institution it is today. In these roles, Dr. Zreik successfully oversaw physician and provider practice growth, substantial optimization in operational performance, efficiency and clinical integration, and enacted strategies to expand patient care across entire regions of the country.
Dr. Zreik studied at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, Drexel University’s College of Medicine, Drexel University’s Dornsife School of Public Health, University College London, and Wayne State University. He holds advanced graduate degrees in healthcare administration, epidemiology, functional neuroscience and neural networks, as well as population health. Dr. Zreik is also an internationally recognized researcher whose work has appeared in both peer-reviewed and globally recognized publications addressing functional and cognitive neuroscience, neural plasticity and TBI recovery, population health and other areas of cutting-edge clinical research.
Dr. Zreik is affiliated with several professional organizations, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association and American Public Health Association.
