Bio
Dr. Nathan Farkas is a board-certified vascular and interventional neurologist at Interventional Neuro Associates, specializing in the comprehensive treatment of cerebrovascular disorders including ischemic stroke, pulsatile tinnitus and Idiopathic intracranial hypertension, as well as back and spine pain. He brings a dynamic blend of clinical expertise, procedural innovation, and academic rigor to his practice.
Dr. Farkas earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate and completed his neurology residency at Washington University in St. Louis, followed by advanced fellowship training in vascular neurology at Thomas Jefferson University and in Endovascular Neurointervention at Montefiore Medical Center. During his fellowship, he served as site Co-Principal Investigator for national registries such as PERFAN and CONDOR, contributing to multicenter efforts to improve outcomes in complex neurovascular disease.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Farkas is a published researcher and invited speaker, with recent talks focused on physician well-being and second victim syndrome in high-acuity neurointerventional care. He is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while advancing the field through education, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
