At Hudson Regional Hospital, our orthopedic team focuses on reducing your pain and improving your function, so you can get back to doing what you love to do quickly and safely.
Patients who require surgery on the hand, shoulder, ankle, foot, or spine are referred to our Orthopedic Surgery Department. At Hudson Regional Hospital, our surgeons diagnose, care for, and treat patients with musculoskeletal disorders. Our physicians will also treat lower back pain, pulled muscles, and ruptured discs. Both surgical and nonsurgical routes may be used to treat the trauma or disease.
We provide comprehensive care for orthopedic conditions and injuries. Our board-certified orthopedic doctors and surgeons recommend non-surgical treatments, such as physical therapy and rehabilitation, whenever possible. Our physical therapists help you heal after an injury or surgery.
The board-certified team includes physicians and surgeons also specializing in Sports Medicine. Although patients seeking an orthopedic specialist may need surgery, typically 50 percent of an orthopedist’s practice consists of pain management of injuries and diseases. When a patient has orthopedic surgery at Hudson Regional Hospital, they may participate in inpatient care at our Hudson Regional Hospital Rehabilitation Center.
